SUPERSTARS ATTIRE & PROPS

Any color dancewear made of spandex or lycra is acceptable. Hair needs to be pulled away from their face. The staff suggests a ponytail or a low bun with long hair. For shorter hair; pigtails, a soft hairband or barrettes are suggested. We will not compromise on this rule as it is for each child's safety. The first time a student comes to class dressed inappropriately with their hair not secured away from their face, it will be discussed with the parent. The second time, he/she will only observe class. The third time, the child will be sent home. GYMNASTICS AND TUMBLING STUDENTS must wear a leotard or biketard - for their safety no baggy T-shirts. You may wear form fitting stretchy shorts over the leotard.

ALL DANCE SHOES ARE NOT TO BE WORN OUTSIDE. THESE SHOES ARE FOR CLASS USE OR PERFORMANCES ONLY!!!!!
WE DO SELL QUALITY SHOES AND DANCE ATTIRE.

BATON/POM CLASSES - we will order your child a baton ($18 - $25 approx.) and poms ($15- $30 approx.) for class. He/she will need tan jazz shoes for classes.

TAP CLASSES - Tie tan tap shoe, with the exception of the advanced tap classes. Competition members may be required to have tan and/or black jazz taps and advanced tap class students are required to have tan jazz taps.

JAZZ - Pull on gore boots (split-sole). Competition members may be required to have tan and/or black gore jazz shoes.

HIP/HOP FUNK -Tan jazz shoes or boots for class and you may be asked to purchase a special pair of tennis shoes or jazz boots for performances and recital.

LYRICAL - Tan pull on gore boots (split sole).

TUMBLING - Barefoot or gymnastic shoes, no tights, socks or jewelry. YOU MUST WEAR A LEOTARD OR BIKETARD TO CLASS.

BALLET - Pink ballet shoes

Equipment Needed If your child is in a pom or baton class they will need poms or a baton. They must be paid for before the studio will order them.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOUR CHILD BRING HIS/HER PROPS AND SHOES TO CLASS EACH WEEK. We are NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.

Payment for shoes, batons, poms, clothing, etc. is due when you order merchandise. All merchandise will go through the "store" so you will need a separate check. It will not go through student records
