«IMPORTANT RECITAL & PICTURE INFO

Our 2007 Christmas Programs are quickly approaching! Carlisle will have theirs December 15^th at 1:00 pm at Carlisle Middle School and Norwalk’s will be December 16^th at 1:00, 3:00 and 4:30 pm at the Norwalk Middle School. Please arrive a half hour before your scheduled performance. We will be wearing black pants and our blue Superstar t-shirts. A free will donation of $2.00 per adult would be appreciated at the Norwalk performances. Last winter we conducted a survey which showed overwhelming support for continuing these Christmas Recitals. A majority of those that responded agreed that a $5.00 ticket wouldn’t be out of line. We’ve decided to go with a $2.00 free will donation instead. The donations will go to help cover the gym costs and any remaining will be donated to Miss Iowa, Diana Reed, to help cover her costs and preparations for the Miss America Pageant in January. Diana will also perform in Norwalk’s three recitals on December 16^th. She will be available to sign autographs and sell her posters. Remember to bring your camera! The Christmas Recital breakout by class is attached.

Parent Volunteers needed for our show. It would be ideal to have one parent per class. Please let the receptionist know if you are able to help.

Winter Music Recital: January 17 & 18, 2008

DECEMBER TUITION DUE:

December tuition & costume balances were due on December 1^st. Please make sure your account is in good standing prior to the holiday break. Thank you so much!

REMINDER: WE DO NOT CLOSE FOR SCHOOL CONCERTS, CONFERENCES, ETC. We have students from six different school districts, all following different schedules. We will hold regular classes and hope you can attend. However, please call and let us know if your child will be missing.

April 12^th, 2008 is PICTURE DAY for the Norwalk Studio.

April 19^th is PICTURE DAY for the Carlisle Studio.

Please reserve these dates, as we want everyone’s pictures with their class. J

PRINCESS CAMP will be held December 8th at the Norwalk studio from 10:00 until 1:00. The cost is $35.00! There’s still time to sign up! Each princess will receive a tutu, crown and a wand. They’ll sing songs, dance and play games.

We hear there might even be a visit from Jasmine, Belle and Cinderella!

ADDING/CHANGING CLASSES:

We are now past the last day to add or change a class! We are currently in the process of ordering costumes. These are non-refundable; therefore, if your child is enrolled in the class when we order that costume, you will be held responsible for that costume.

WEATHER:

In case of inclement weather, please call the studio and the listen to the message for class information or check your e-mail or our website for any cancellations. We will inform television stations KCCI-Channel 8, WHO-Channel 13, WOI-Channel 5, and radio stations KIOA-93.3, Star-102.5 of cancellations. We do try to follow Norwalk and Carlisle school district decisions. There are no refunds for cancelled classes, so we try not to cancel whenever possible.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

The studio will be closed from Dec. 24^th-Jan. 6^th to observe the holidays. Classes will resume on Monday, January 7^th, 2008. Ms. Jan and the entire Superstars staff would like to wish all the Superstars and their families a blessed holiday and a happy new year!
