IMPORTANT PICTURE INFORMATION

Norwalk’s recital pictures will be taken April 11^th and 12^th at the studio.

Competition teams will be on Friday night. Carlisle pictures are April 19^th. Please check the attached schedule to find your child’s picture time and required tights and shoes. Please arrive 10 minutes early with hair and make-up done and ready to go. Even if you don’t plan on ordering pictures, please still come because we want every student to be in their class picture for our walls!

All students should

wear their costumes

to class in order to make sure that all alterations are done and all details are taken care of (hair and

make-up not required unless your

teacher tells you otherwise). The

dress rehearsal will be done at the beginning of class and students should bring other dance clothes to change

into afterwards. Parents- it would be

to your advantage to attend this dress rehearsal so that you are

sure everything is in order for the

recital.

TIGHTS!!!!

All students performing in the recital, except tumbling, are to wear tights purchased through the studio so we have a uniform appearance on stage. We have tights in stock ($10.60) or can order them quickly if we do not have your size. But, please do not wait much longer to get your order in!

PRIORITY PRE-REGISTRATION

Priority Pre-Registration is coming soon. . . Carlisle is Tuesday, May 20^th from 5-7 p.m. & Wednesday, May 21^st from 5-7 p.m. Norwalk is May 24^th from 9-10:30 for families with last name A-F, 10:30-12:00 for G-L, 12:00-1:30 for M-S and 1:30-3:00 for T-Z at the studio. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to schedule the best times with your favorite teachers! Both of our locations are expected to grow and several of our classes will fill up. Save money by registering and paying for the whole year. If you register and pay for the whole year you pay this years tuition costs and you do not pay the recital fee. We want to give our current students the opportunity to pre-register for fall classes before we open our registrations up to the general public.

CHECK YOUR SHOES!

With pictures and the recitals only 7 lessons away, you need to check all your required shoes and make sure they are in good condition and fit properly. Please don’t delay in ordering new ones if needed!

PLEASE CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT BALANCE:

The end of the year is fast approaching and it’s very important that all accounts are up-to-date. Your child will not be allowed to perform in the recital unless your account is paid in full. No exceptions. We would hate for this to happen, but find it necessary for all charges to your account to be taken care of. Thanks!

MISS MAJORETTE OF IOWA:

Balloon graphic The Superstars will again host the Miss Majorette of Iowa competition on Saturday, May 10^th at Valley Southwoods Freshman School in West Des Moines. All Superstars baton twirlers are encouraged to come and watch and support the Superstars competition twirlers. The competition is free to the public and the best twirlers across the Midwest will be competing. The competition begins at 8:00 a.m. and runs until 6:00. A great time to come watch is right after lunch when the solos and teams will be competing!

HELPERS FOR CARLISLE AND NORWALK RECITALS

We need a few parents who are willing to help at this year’s recital. We mainly need parents to be class mommies and sit with the students to keep them occupied and under control during the show. Volunteers WILL BE ABLE TO WATCH from the back of the auditorium when their child is performing on stage.

We will also have a seating section reserved for those who volunteer. Volunteers and their 3 guests will be able to sit in the reserved section of a different show. We will need approximately 30 parents per show. Please sign up at the front desk if you are willing to volunteer. Thank you!
