VERY IMPORTANT REHEARSAL
INSTRUCTIONS:
To the side is the order in which we will
rehearse on Friday, May 16th.
THIS IS NOT THE ORDER OF THE
RECITAL, ONLY THE REHEARSAL. We tried
to keep the younger ones earlier in the day.
After you have gone through all your numbers, you may leave. Please be sure you haven’t missed any of your
routines! You are welcome to stay and
watch as long as you are quiet.
Parents don’t panic-rehearsals are supposed to look chaotic. The students
really do know their routines and will really shine on Saturday!
No
dressing rooms will be open that night so everything must go in the auditorium
with you.
The students are to wear either
their blue Superstars t-shirt or their new recital shirts and black shorts,
pants etc. They are to bring their dance
bag with them and sit in designated areas with their class. An adult
needs to stay with your child in the auditorium. The back stage parents WILL NOT be with your
child that night. It must be a parent or
someone you have asked to be responsible for your child. PLEASE
DO NOT LET SIBLINGS OR ANYONE LEAVE THE AUDITORIUM FOR ANY REASON.
Please have your child in
the correct shoes for their first dance listed.
If they are in a Baton or Pom class, don’t let
them forget to take their batons or poms on stage
with them. There is usually one number
in between each of their routines. They
will rehearse their first number, then go to the side of the stage to quickly change
their shoes and come right back on stage for their next number. To keep things moving quickly, have them take
their dance bags up on stage with them.
As soon as they have completed all of their numbers, you may leave.
TIMES TO BE AT REHEARSAL –
On Friday, the first few numbers
need to be ready and backstage at 4:00; so please arrive by 3:45for Carlisle,
and 4:45 for
Please bring something quiet to keep children
occupied while waiting.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR NAME is on
everything. A star or a dot doesn’t help
us to find the owner of the items.
NO FOOD OR DRINK WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE AUDITORIUM.
FINALE CLASS–this is towards
then end; if you are in the finale class, please don’t leave until you have
rehearsed this routine as well.
